Luana Swensson, Policy Specialist for Sustainable Public Food Procurement, FAO

Luana Swensson is specialized on legal and multi-disciplinary policy-oriented research on the field of food, agriculture, and sustainable development. In the last ten years, her work at the FAO has focused on sustainable public food procurement as a development policy instrument and the interlinkages between the related policy and regulatory frameworks. Her work includes the coordination of FAO's work on SPFP sustainable public food procurement within the One Planet Network and other international platforms, the development of technical publications and guidelines, the provision of technical support for the design and implementation of projects at country level, as well as of capacity building.
